Automaticly set the first date

Post by jpbauer »

Hi

I would like to know if it's possible to automaticly set the state "...parcel registered to the carrier..." as the first date to count the number of days and not one parcel by one?

Regards

Is it planed in a future release ? Because in for French post, it's very important to follow the number of day during the register date by "La Poste - Colissimo" and the delivery date to the client. If it's more than 2 opened days (from monday to saterday included) you can demand a pay back from 25% for 1 day more, 50% for 2 days more, 75% for 3 days more & 100% for more than 4 days more... so it's very interesting to know which parcel is in late.

Currently this requested feature is not planned, of course. But I'm planned to rewrite day counters for tracks, so I can keep your suggestion in mind. But pls tell what you want more clearly.

OK:

In setup of the application:
- possibility to define the parcel state as the default first day (like a combo-box simple selection)
- specify which day of the week could be a open day (like 7 check-boxes)
- specify what is the normal delay (like a spin-button) - either for all the application either as a parameter for each service if it's possible because the French Post office, UPS, TNT... have different delay

New functionalities
- display a parcels list out of delay, depending on the above parameters, perhaps with some filter (service, delay, # of parcel, interval of date...)
- possibility to add a state "Delay reported" in order to distinguish in the list those which are new and those already disputed
- action on each line of this list to toggle between "Delay reported" or not
