Hello,

we inform you that we changed some things on our web side sledenje.posta.si because of trouble which we have because of uncontrolled calling our Track &Trace server.

The link which can be used for needed Track &Trace is:

tn = TraceNumber oz. sprejemna številka (reception number)
guid = posebna številka, namenjena samo vam (special issue is intended only for you)

Such solution is not suitable for tracking of massive demand, so we restrict demand that you can´t repeat tracking in less than 3 seconds. If you done the sistem reports an error. For massive demand wich can be used by our contract clients is “Shipment Tracking” online service.

So you need to ask them to give you a unique ID... I will add support of manual input of captcha and this unique ID as separate servceis (si_captcha & si_uid).

That would be great - I asked them and they already gave me my own uid.

PS. the Mobile version of the tracking site does not ask for CAPTCHA, but it would probably be just a matter of time before they add it there too...

yes, I did it! now service with SID:si works via mobile version... till they block it)

You can get prerelease update here and test it.
There are two services: si and si_guid, second is for track+guid format like: "RA123456789SI ABCDEFGH-1234"

The SID:si is working, however I cannot get the si_guid to work. Note that the guid is in the hexadecimal format (so ABCDEF1-1A2B is valid guid), is maybe that what's causing the problem?

Also, if I add multiples services, the track+guid format appears to break other services for that track. Is there a way around that?

I don't remember, maybe test build don't include latest services.dat, if you don't see si_guid service in list, you need to use new services.dat file)

sg_post and china services can not recognize guid appendix to track and didn't check such track...
you can add normal track via ";" like this: "RA123456789CN ABCDEFGH-1234;RA123456789CN"
it means that text field contents two separate tracking numbers... and app will split and check it separatly.

Another solution... is in adding special parsing mask to china & sg_post (and maybe other post services) services "\p{L}{2}\d{9}\p{L}{2}"... App will try to detect UPU tracking number from complex track string for si_guid...
But... it is not иуые solution... for best solution I need to think hard)

apparently the mobile version (used by the "si" service) now also uses the CAPTCHA so it does not work anymore.

Also I am somehow unable to use the si_guid service - when adding the tracking number with the guid, nothing happens when checking the track.

Example:

Interesting, I'm using Windows client and I am unable to get any information from "si_guid" with the latest app (v1.0.13 (b455)) and services (sv20160819).

I fixed the track mask some more (tracking numbers can also end with NL, CN, ...) and fixed the regex to match some additional tracks, for example:

Carko, NL is only for Netherlands post, CN - for china, not for Slovenian post. Slovenian post should have in mask ONLY "SI"!

Of course, but we want to track incoming shipments too!

If I get a shipment from China, it ends with CN, but I still want to track the delivery via Slovenian post (as it is more detailed) ...

So you should just select User country as Slovenia in App settings and Slovenian post will add to all you tracks by default.

If case of your mask every service should has NL and CN and so on in mask. And in that case there are no autodetect of services at all.

Unfortunately they placed Captcha image on the main html page.... TrackChecker parser engine doesn't support this type of captcha images yet(
